After completing the Occupational Endorsement courses, take:

5 additional courses, mostly evening classes

  • Introduction to Business

  • Fundamentals of Supervision

  • Personal Computing

  • Two electives

Courses taken for the Undergraduate Certificate in Logistis program may be applied toward the Associate of Applied Sciences degree below.

Applied Sciences

Planning Sheet

After completing the Undergraduate Certificate in Logistics, take:

10 additional courses, mostly evening classes

  • Business Law

  • Introduction to Economics

  • English, Communication & Math degree requirements

  • Four program electives in areas such as Hazardous Materials Operation, Operational Safety or Technical Internship

If you wish to continue your education, 39 credits from the AAS degree may be applied toward the CBPP baccalaureate degree in Global Logistics Management.

 
All three programs were developed using input from Alaskan business, industry, and military leaders. Therefore, these programs were designed to prepare graduates for employment in the real operational and technical aspects of logistics and supply chain organizations—customer service, inventory control, software, transportation, warehousing—using real world examples and case studies, field trips to operational sites, and guest lecturers.
